  • Planning Consultants – Oxfordshire

    We are looking for new members for our growing team at our main office near Reading.

    Successful applicants will have experience of the planning system and a working knowledge of agriculture. The role includes advising Local Authority clients across the South of England on a broad range of agricultural and rural matters to assist in the determination of planning applications, and the preparation and submission of planning applications for private clients.

    An ability to critically appraise proposed developments in terms of the planning policy framework, whilst understanding its wider agricultural context is an essential element of this role, .

    We seek committed and self-motivated individuals, who are able to write reports to a high standard on time and to budget.

    Due to the rural nature of the work, a full driving licence is essential.

  • Rural Planning Consultant – South Wales and the Marches

    We are looking for somebody with experience of the planning system and a working knowledge of agriculture to join our planning team in South Wales and the Marches. The role includes advising Local Authority clients on agricultural matters to assist in the determination of planning applications, and the preparation and submission of planning applications for private clients.

    An essential element of this role is the ability to critically appraise a proposed development in terms of the planning policy framework, whilst understanding its wider agricultural context.

    The position demands a committed and self-motivated individual, able to write reports to a high standard on time and to budget.

    Due to the rural nature of the work, a full driving licence is essential.

  • Soil Scientist and Surveyor

    RAC provides Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) and other soil surveys for clients across the UK.

    We are always interested in making links with established soil surveyors around the country.
