Alex has been with Reading Agricultural Consultants since 2003 during which time he has experienced a wide variety of work in the spheres of rural and environmental planning. His specialisations are spit between the preparation and submission of planning applications and the preparation of agricultural impact statements for inclusion in environmental impact assessments. Through this work it has been necessary to develop skills in CAD, mapping and other graphical software in order to present information in a logical and professional format.

His experience is wide-ranging, working individually to gain approval for many types of rural development including; barns, dwellings, equestrian development, waste storage, roadways etc. Also, as part of a team in the consideration of the environmental effects of large developments, for example: new highway infrastructure, airports, urban extensions and agricultural installations.
